I understand that Elec-Trak parts are hard to come by, but....
Is this something I should take right to the scrap yard or are there certain parts I should take off before taking it to the scrap yard. I'm not sure yet what the underside looks like. **Sold** Sold it to an ER8 owner for parts.

I’ve never heard of that mower before. You can salvage anything that isn’t badly damaged in my opinion. Tires on rims if they hold air, emblems, steering wheel, even the mower deck, etc…

Put parts on Ebay, and see what happens!
I'd do that before scrapping it.

I don't do ebay any more and I have 2 95 electrics if I want (I really don't want) a winter project. I sent that guy an email but I reached out to him before and didn't get a reply.
I cleaned it up some and I'm gonna put it up for sale for $300 or reasonable offer. I think those decks are good for $200-300. **Sold** Sold it to an ER8 owner for parts.

Crazy seller fee and anti seller attitude. Can't leave negative comments or a negative for scammer customers. Even with proof something is new or they got it, ebay withholds the money and sides with the customer.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
