Cub Cadet 73 38” deck belt sizes?
What size belts does a 73 with 38” deck take? I’m working on one for a friend and it needs belts but I can’t find any links that work on this site.

That link does work, but it only gives the IH part number, and I was looking for the size. cubfaq.com got me what I needed, thanks Alvy.

Matter of fact, if you click "add to cart" on the CCC website, it also gives you the belt size. I thought it did, I just went and checked.
Also, you do know that like every part store that carries belts has a chart. If you are going to buy one locally, which, if you are fixing a tractor for someone else, I assume you aren't going to order a belt online.... you can just call the store and they can tell you what belt you need. |

Well I figured I would just ask here, and get a quick answer from the experts. I got the answer... and lesson learned... again.

My point is, you had all the info you needed. Why should we have to go look up the length and give it to you? We did the same thing you can do.... and I'm sure you have been here long enough to have seen all those links before.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
