Mower deck on IH 782 won't engage
I finally got my mower deck hooked up to my 782 after using it to till in the garden all spring. Tiller worked great, went to use the mower deck tonight and the pto won't engage. When I flipped the switch nothing happened. Could that simply be the switch? If it was the PTO how costly and big of a job is that? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Could be:
Poor connection Bad safety switch Bad ignition switch Bad PTO switch Broken wire Poor ground Blown fuse Bad PTO Take a look at the proper wiring diagram for your 782, follow the path of the circuit and test until you find the problem. No sense guessing what part is bad, or if any are. If it suddenly stoped working, it's likely something easy. Since you just took the tiller off and installed the deck, I'd be checking the plug up at the PTO. You may have knocked it loose.
