Lew,
Thanks for the reply. I used your suggestion as we talked awhile back by looping the one plug tether thru the other loop and it is all hidden under the front casting. Im just still curious how it was done at the factory for the front QL outlets. Good for you on the HH find , good things happen to good people ! ps I did get a nice almost rust free 44a deck ,easy to fix minor rust holes and original paint. Has perfect spindles good blades, also found a spare 50c parts deck with perfect newer style spindles as replacement spares.... for a Lew price of free ! So very soon will be putting my 1650 to mower duty, already used it to roll the lawn earlier this spring, they are nice tractors. Carroll

Yeah John, I guess. ..
I got the 126 to run today. The motor is a replacement engine, runs smoothly, sound good except for the sticky exhaust valve occasionally. Looks like I have a good engine and a bad body. I will make it a roller for the pullers and keep the rest.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
