Narrow frame.

It is probably a 106,4 2" deck and 36" snowblower, probably has a 3 point and a spring assist on it also.

Anyone happen to know the serial number range for the 126's? I know I can date the engine to make sure its from the right time period. Any other tips on things to look for to make sure its legit?

I found the "Rare CC's thread" an it according to that the 126 should be the third lowest production by numbers, Ive txt chatted with this guy a few time over the last month and I havent seen him mention that it is a rare model so I certainly wont tell him but I would like to confirm it before deciding on how hard to negotiate with him.

the kind code doesn't lie, if the 4 digits before the u in the serial are 0039 then its a 126 and if there 0037 its a 106.

Hard to tell but I don't see a dipstick on the cam cover.

No matter what the shroud tag says, check the oil pan for a flat bottom or a deep sump.

Oh just go get it before somebody buys it out from under you.
It's only money, and you can't take it with you.
I never seen a hearse with a luggage rack.
He who dies with the most toys wins.
Besides, you need something else to "fix"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
