Tire size compareo
Ok here is the scoop. I want to put tri ribs on the front of a 1450 and was thinking that in the long run it may be more economical to have narrower tires on the front. how much smaller are the 4.80 x4.00 compared to the 16x6.50-8's...or am I just going at this all wrong?

Besides the fact that they look a whole lot better they're certainly economical. You can almost but 3 sets of 4.00-8 tri-ribs for the price of 1 pair of 3 rib 16-6.50's. They make a big difference in steering too, it's much easier to make low speed turns
