Dealer Locator?
I need to find some wheel weights. The problem is, the cub cadet site gives you the option for 1000 series, 1500 series, 2500 series, 3000 series, and no "none of the above" option. I'd rather buy them local and not pay to ship them if possible. Does anyone know how I can find a dealer near me (Eldora, IA 50627)? I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to post this here or in the parts source forum, so if I was wrong, I apologize. Feel free to move it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a difference other than surface material? I'm not the collector type of guy, as long as they'll help me plow and push snow better I could give a crap less who makes them.

Stitch:
If political correctness is not a concern, then ANY ones Wheel Weight for a 12" rim will work. I do acknowledge, that Cub Wheel Weights go for a hefty price. I ended up buying a pair of 75# weights for my 784 that were off a another brand (WH) and painted them IH red. I spent less money for the 75# weights than for one 26# IH weight. And guess what....they work and look just fine. :biggrin2.gif:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
