First, welcome to OCC.........

Click on the tab that says "Cub Cadet Parts & Service look up" at the top of the page. Plug 3185 in, as the model, it will bring up the "assemblies" for that model. Choose the section you want and it will bring up the parts breakdown and part numbers.

It looks like you have to buy the complete assembly and that looks like it's NLA

This is what I found with a google search.

I've not had that issue yet and never pressed out the bearing to get the specs. The outer bearing is a HK3020 which has a 38mm outer diameter and a 30mm inner diameter but is 20 mm wide so the blocks are different. McMaster has some material that might work but I don't know the block specs. Do you have yours pressed out yet?
This might work but I'm not sure + they have a bunch more on their site. Let us know what you find please.

Here are the seals needed for the axle assembly. They are 30x40x4 and you will need 6 of them.

If you own a 3k machine you need to stock up on O rings for the hydraulics too. Let me know if you need those numbers and I'll dig them up for you.

Oh ya, Welcome to OCC.

A short introduction, I always bought cheap box store tractors and had to replace them every couple of years. In 2005 something major happened to our tractor and I was leaving for a race the next day. So I went to Home Depot and bought a Cub Cadet gt1554. I suffered with that tractor for 7 years before I replaced it With 2 used Ingersoll tractors. They were much better but the mule drive was still problematic. Our lot has a lot of steep hills and valleys. So last summer I picked up a Cub Cadet 3185 and a 3235.The 3235 leaked oil from the rear but I added 1/2 quart each week and we never had a problem with it. I paid about $300 for each. A couple of weeks ago I bought a never used 50" deck and last week I bought a 48" deck that was only used 3 times since 2004. I also bought 2 nos inner bushing blocks for the 3235. I just rebuilt the pto and steering on the 3185 and next month I will rebuild the rear on the 3235. I have several cnc machines, 3 manual lathes, mig tig welders and a plasma cutter. I can make almost anything. When I repair the 3235 I will find a replacement bushing and let everyone know where to source it. If Oak would share the oring #'s I should stock I would appreciate it.

Terry, with that equipment I'm thinking you got it covered. Post some pics up when you do it.

Here are the rings for the spool valves. These are McMaster-Carr numbers.

Replace the springs if you are rebuilding the spool valves. The Cub part# is 732-3059.

Check this out too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
