Timing an Onan
I see on my Onan that there are timing marks on the case. Can you use a timing light and where can I read how to do it if you can?

Oak,
If you search the web a little you can download a copy of the Onan sevice manual for the B48G.Under the ignition chapter it will tell you how to static time the engine.I have not tried it but seems like the way Kohler's can be done with an ohm meter.If nothing else the manual has a ton of great information and it's hard to beat free.
