Nice looking cart dirty man. Kind of looks similar to a number 4. Great price!

Great deal? I noticed Cleveland is spelled wrong on the tag.

Good observation!
So what does that mean? Aftermarket tag? Or mistake by Cub Cadet people? I know when there are mistakes made with other things like this they become collectible..

The city was named after General Moses Cleaveland. Two explanations as to why the name was shortened are either it was misspelled accidentally and was just adopted that way, or that the newspaper headline was too long so the "a" was dropped to make room and it just stayed like that.
Looks like Cub Cadet shortened it even more!

20 years ago, I wanted two fluorescent light fixtures to make a kitchen light for our home,,
They were asking $10 each for 2 new fixtures at a yard sale,,
I offered the lady $10 for both, it was 4:00 in the afternoon,,,

The lady hollered across the yard, asking her husband if he would take $10,,

The husband replied,,,

"SURE, pay him the $10 to get rid of them!!" then he grinned,,,

I made the light fixture out of cherry, stained to kinda match the cabinets,,
it is still working perfectly!!

A neighbor gave me the wood, and he did the cutting/planing,,
he even had the stain and finish.

We have had a SUPER bright kitchen (four - 4 foot bulbs) for 2 decades,, for $10 plus a few sets of bulbs,,,

$10 is my favorite price at yard sales,, nice find on the trailer!!

I was starting to believe it was a fake tag. 223A does not come up in the parts look up on Cub web site. I searched under attachments for 1330 LT's- no luck. Then I tried 2130 LT- Dang if it did not show up!!!

https://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/A...0-A/0041100001

Misspelled tag by Cub Cadet? A real rare bird for sure.

I'll start the bidding at $450.....

Just kidding.....

Pulled the kids around in it last night for a bit. They loved it!

I believe the wheels are not original. And not as tall as could be. I would like them taller to get more dump height. So I will keep my eye out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
