I am really enjoying using a QuietLine. The more I work it, the more I appreciate the engineering.

The "crew" is looking good Bill.
How do you like the 400? Just got mine attached to the 782, but yet to try it out.

Thanks Todd! I love it. This spring it has taken a beating tilling under sod for a new garden, and some patches of lawn for reseeding and given me zero issues. Our new house is on a hill full of rocks. I have raked out a few cart loads of rocks ranging from golf ball to cantaloupe size after tilling. I'm not a fan of that style BS engine, but it starts on the first pull and so far has been up to the task.

Bill

Nice to see you around! Yes, these Quiet line models are great garden tractors once they are fixed up!

Thumbs up

Washed up my 72 after winter and spring work. It was pretty dirty by my standards.

I also removed the front and rear lights used for snow plowing. Found two officially licensed IH key chains!

With the 72 cleaned up, I parked it in the shop and covered it up. I got the 125 out and will tinker with that between the 1450 adventure project I'm working on.

Been a great day!

That's a nice looking 72. Here's a link to the decal kit if you're interested.

Thanks for the link, yes I'm interested. Not bad of a price either!

Thanks cubcadet! Its a worker and suffers paint chips from time to time, but still deserves to get clean!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
