Cub of the day. Or week. Or month.
I think i would be cool if this site had a cub of the day, of the week, or of the month. Whether it is just a certain model or if it was a club members cub that is chosen at random. Just a thought, but that would be cool. :biggrin2.gif:

Maybe have a data base, that everybody can add to, that way we each put 2-3 pics of each of our cub, with a description on each pic, and the system would just randomly pick a photo, I think i'd be cool if it could make sure that they all have a go, before they start repeating,
Just a thought Cody |

How about a different model every week. Start with the original and continue on as they were produced. Give everyone a weak to post there pictures. Then the winner will be the cub of the week for the following, while pictures of the next model are being posted. Then at least you are competing within models, and don't have to choose between a sweet original and a fully loaded super.

Cub of the Day would be a bit much and a lot of time. Maybe Cub of the week or month would be more likely.

I think this would be cool in a way.
But considering: Members: 2,036, Active Members: 539, it would be a little crazy going thru all the pics. It would be cool to have it posted in a banner at the top of the page too..

It sounds like a good suggestion.
Problem is the Moderator and administrators have plenty to do now without selecting a Cub of the day-week or month. I can see conflict(s) starting between members because their Cub wasn't chosen. Keep in mind this is only Senior Member's thoughts. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
