Brad, Here's one on Craigslist in WNY. I've gone to Mi. many times for tractor parts, it's a nice trip.
https://buffalo.craigslist.org/grd/5422952335.html This can easily be changed to fit a cub. (Broom pictured below) My employer has a Ventrac broom and it can do everything your looking to do. It has it's own hydraulic pump that runs off the front pto, it has hydro turn (that runs off tractor hyd.), forward or reverse brush rotation with it's own variable rpm and it can regulate how much down pressure you want to use on the brush......... Quite a machine, kinda pricy also. |

Sorry, I have been away for a while and just saw this post....

Mars made a couple of different versions in the '60's. The one for the first O's had a small Clinton engine on them since PTO's weren't standard and were stationary to the driver's RHS. I am looking for brochures on this if anyone has one to scan, then that would be awesome. Sweepster made a lot of the others through the '80's. That is what I have on a 129. Word of caution, if you are going to get one then you will need a lot of weight added on the rear end of your cub. I can pick up the rear of my 129 quite easily with just 2 fingers of one hand if I do not have weight on it! This also puts a lot more strain on the front axle if you do not weight down the rear end. Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
