CC 1450 deck carriage and mule drive
I'm looking for a deck carriage and deck mule drive for my 1450. Ideally something that needs minimal work (coat of paint OK or replacing pulley(s) but I'd rather not make too many weld repairs unless the price is right). Shipping to 84087.
Thanks |

I have several here in Iowa, but shipping would be very expensive I'm afraid.
Not to mention, packaging would be a real PITA. |

Shipping tires is one thing.
Shipping a big bulky of steel assembly weighing in at 30+ pounds with sharp edges and requiring a box near 36" x 15" x 9" or so is quite another. I just checked USPS for a rate and in comes in at just north of $100 And, that's disassembled and in a box providing you can find one big enough and heavy duty enough to make the trip. from 52041 to 84087 UPS may be cheaper or perhaps a bus or Fastenal. They would probably require it to be banded down on a pallet and maybe even be crated! |

FASTENAL has the best deals for shipping bulky items throughout the country. Strap whatever you have to a pallet (small or large) and give them the size and where it is being shipped from and where its going and they will tell you how much it will cost to ship.
You will have to drop the item off at a FASTENAL outlet. They have fork lifts if needed. Might take a week to get there. For small items like a mule drive only, FEDEX might be your best option rather than USPS or UPS as they are way too expensive! |

Recently rated 2 boxes (total near 100#'s) to CT.
USPS was cheapest and Fastenal was near twice as much. Nether was cheap enough for the prospective buyer though. |

Doesn't make sense that USPS would be cheaper than Fastenal with something that heavy.
I sent my daughter 2 candle sticks for Christmas through USPS from NY to WA and it cost me $29.00! They only weighed 3 pounds!! For small stuff, I have had the best luck with Fedex. Their insurance is reasonable too. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
