Default 1811 Mower Decks

Question on decks -- my 1811 came with a 46 GT. Cream, resembles A/C series decks, 3 blade. My 2182 came with a 48 GT deck. Yellow, much taller/thicker, has the step/straps for the 4 corner anti-scalp wheels. Are these the same series or is there some common differential for the substantial difference in scale?

Ideally I'd find a 54 GT (190-324-100) for the 2182, and hand me down the 48 GT to the 1811 or something, as I find myself with a lot of decks that don't mow any grass. It seems the super can still be useful and not get cumbersome with a deck, whereas I don't really need them on anything else.

Thanks.

Do you have a generalized name or something to distinguish from the older GT to SGT or newer GT decks?

GT Mower Decks "may" fit on a SGT Tractor, provided there is a appropriate Mule Drive (Adapter Pkg) to do so. Not any GT deck will fit on a SGT.

SGT Mower Decks will NOT fit on a regular GT tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
