Default XT2 Enduro No Start/Click

2018 XT2 Enduro
Mod.# 13AZA1CN010
D.O.M: 04/2018
Serial # 1D278H40385

Two weeks ago, issue began: Push button start, no start/no click(solenoid)..
Tap solenoid with hammer, push button start...Starts up..runs great/strong.
Continued use issue.. Tap solenoid/ starter..starts up.. Thought solenoid would be a good place to start..
Replaced Solenoid (NEW) one day ago. Now...Nothing, shorted out terminals(ok) turns flywheel. Display reads Battery voltage and Hrs Used (normal)..
Checked safety switch under seat..good, disconnected, display reads seat.
Popped off ignition switch/reverse button mod for investigation of corrosion, water damage...None, looks brand new..
When I depress key to start, I can here and feel the ignition module?? click softly and power up when display turns on..THAT'S IT.. Checked wire harness from Starter mod to Solenoid.. all looks good...Scheduled for pick up to go to dealer for service and diag..but just wanted ideas in the mean time.
Thank you for your time.
Best,
Andrew

I would suggest checking your Ground Cable from the Battery to the Chassis Contact point. Make this cable is clean, bright and tight, on both ends. Where it makes contact with the frame, make sure that yo are contacting bare metal. Let us know what you find.

I have my 2020 XT2 GX 50 loaded on the trailer for the same issue. I checked all the safety switches and such. I installed a new battery and it just clicks. If you try it 50 times you may get lucky. I wish I had advice but I will post what the dealer says. I want the push button replaced with a standard key

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
