Trouble with my 1861.
i have been having trouble getting this to run this summer. the person that owned it before i purchased it had replaced the pto switch by bypassing it and putting a totally different one in and it worked fine up until now and all of the sudden today I went to start it and now it saying to disengage the pto. and i have not changed anything and so now it will not start. i hope it is not the pto that went bad. Can anyone help. thank you

I sounds to me like safety switches messing with you. You could start by
putting 12 volts to you PTO without anything running. If you hear the PTO engage then you can eliminate the PTO. Then start looking at the switches, 3 things have to happen. PTO is disengaged. Brake is fully down and you are sitting in the seat. Ken
