I fired up the 2182 and moved it over (still in limbo -- waiting on backordered line from CC) so that I could pull the 1811 in the shop next to it (needs fuel pump, probably more).
Just bought the 1811 last week, so figured I'd change the fuel pump and oil and then see what else comes up.

Not today, but Saturday I put the blade on the 125, and put the iron weights on it too. I still need to put the chains on, then it will be all ready for snow season.
I like to get it ready for winter around Thanksgiving. We often get our first plowable snow in mid December, although we have had one as early as late October, or as late as January. It pays to be ready so all I need to do is start it and go to work whenever it happens.

Last night I figured I'd live up Friday night and work on the Cubs:
2181 -- installed axle braces (still have 1 piece to go today). What a battle -- left everything loose and still couldn't marry the two together. Finally got it, but am definitely a little scared it'll leak (when the pulled the rear end bolts fluid came out. Not sure if someone used too long of bolts or these are supposed to be like that). Used sealer, but we'll see how that works. Also replaced the leaking hydraulic pipe that finally came in from MTD. Turns out it still needs the pump input seal, too. 1811 -- pulled tin to get to the fuel pump. Someone had replaced the pump and the gasket was only half on. oops! Replaced home made hitch with one from feebay.

Fired up the 106 yesterday, pulled the 38" deck off for winter. Then tucked it inside the workshop out of the elements.

Sat -- finished the other side's brace. Blew out the one hole a size, and it went together flawlessly. Also pulled apart the pump bearing holder and replaced the seal. Hunting for obsolete CC o-ring now -- my collection didn't go quite big enough and it's very flat, so I don't really wish to reuse it. SU-9004100-0360.
For reference, the seal is just an SKF 6904 for CC/MTD 921-3032.

Wasted time tonight. Put a new (admittedly Amazon) fuel pump on the cheap 1811, and it leaked even worse than the original one *fuel.
At least I got the gasket on both bolts (unlike the last guy).

A month or so ago I dismantled the driveshaft of my 107, to remove the drive hub. Welded the notches up. Finally had time today to get around to reinstalling it.
