Although I am aware of Anzac's day through my long time Aussie friend, it is good that you observe and recognize the men & women that fought to keep Australia free and maintain your way of life.

Just an interesting fact about this day , in WW1 500,000 men enlisted from Australia out of a population of just over 5,000,000
Similarly massive numbers enlisted from over the ditch in New Zealand
A=Australia , N=New , Z=Zealand , A=Army , C=Corp hence we get ANZAC
Lest We Forget

Due to Covid 19 we were unable to celebrate Anzac Day 25th April with all the commemorations , Dawn Servce , Marches , Church services and 2up
However a huge number of Australians celebrated by standing at the end of their driveway at 6.00 am
Lest we Forget

Oz:

Same here. Our Commie Governor extended the "Shut down" here in Michigan until May 15th. We will miss holidays and events too.

Guess she's not aware that May 1st has become a commie day of celebration for the working class. OH, that's right, she doesn't care about the working class.

Anyways, kudos to all the Aussies for their proud display of patriotism and love for their country.

Where the Anzac legend was founded in Gallipoli Turkey they are currently under a total 4 day lockdown , no one allowed out for any reason but 3 Aussie blokes managed to get to the Memorial on the beach and place a wreath at dawn and play the Last Post

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
