Default 2182 Tear down....How??
I'm tearing down my 2182 and trying to get the rear plate off. How does this deck height adjustment rod come out? I stared at it for awhile and didn't see any easy way for it to come out.

Appears to be a threaded rod with attaching nut. Remove the nut and it should come off.

The nut on the end is left handed thread. Remove it, unscrew the shaft from part #25. Then pull the retaining pin, #24, out of the shaft, this is under the gas tank.

So I was tearing down today and found some electrical woes. Pics attached. The black connector I believe is for the headlights. I checked the electrical schematic and it doesn't show there being a connector for the headlights. I can't find a plug to match either just the one in the pic.

The white 6 pin connector is badly damaged from heat. I found a 6 pin molex connector that I'm thinking of using. Its hard to find these connectors without a huge minimum order. So I found the pic attached on amazon. Its rated for 20 amps and I believe the wiring size in the white connector is 14 ga and the plug is rated for 14-20.

What do you think? Will this molex connector work and what does this black plug connect to

Yes, the 6 pin Molex Connector will work fine.

As far as the Black Connector, best as I can see it has BLU and GRN wires going into it, thus it would be part of the Lighting Circuit.

You are correct about the wires but I don't see another plug for it to connect to. I think it should be coming from the switch though. I will look more thoroughly tomorrow. Maybe its back there covered up in crud.

That two pin connector is for the PTO.
