Think I just bought me an 1811
I've been eyeballing it for quite a while (months now, actually) and it seems to be legit. I've gotten several pictures and even a video (linked below) of the machine. It's about 3 hours away which will by far make this the longest I've traveled for a Cub. It's got 773 hours and comes with a 48"? 46"? deck (seller isn't sure). The kicker is this is priced at $400. That makes me wonder, why so cheap (I consider it cheap, anyway)? The video shows a good running tractor, he says there is no smoke, knocks, rattles, etc. The owner was supposedly an older man who bought it new and when he passed away, he left it to the mechanic who did all the service on it in the past. The only thing he said was done to it was replacing a crank seal because it had a leak, otherwise it's in great running shape. So what do the experts here think? It looks to be made in 1988 and serial/model numbers check out. I hope it's what it looks to be! If I get it, you better believe they'll be pictures of it!

Oh, and before I forget, there's no decals because it was repainted. They guy said it's a good job, but only my eyes will be the judge of that

I wondered if anyone ever thought that about the name LOL. As far as the lever it looks about 90 deg if I remember right their normally only slightly bent? but I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker. I noticed also they only painted the hood but the yellow fenders are sun faded I don't think I would buy it.. by the way where did you say it was located LOL
