This is a very early brochure, go to the specifications chart--2072 is listed as using an Onan.

I have some of that stuff as well.
57 page attachment guide dated 7/94
A 24 page service parts, paint, OEM parts and accessory guide
Lots of good reading.
For instance, the application guide for snow removal equipment and what is needed to attach specific equipment to
different Cubs goes clear back to the 482 series.

I wonder what they hand you today when you buy a new tractor.. Most likely they just give you a 1 pager with a phone number and a website address.

I don't have anything newer than the 2084, but isn't there some sort of app thing that comes with the new ones that tells you when to change your oil and whatnot?

Is there a manual in that?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
