My 1711 is the only Cub I use for snow duty. The remainder are mowers.

I just got my 125 and 149 ready last week. Normally I have at least one tractor ready in November, but I have been busy with other things and we haven’t really had any snow other than an inch or two in the beginning of December, which was gone the next day. Last Thursday we finally had our first plowable snow, only 2 inches. Here they are, along with the big snow mover, with 4WD and a heated cab.

I use my BX to plow snow. Modified Meyer plow off a Ford F-150.

I love my cubs but I also love the family 4x4 simplicity for the bigger jobs.

The 125 which is the future of snow throwing around here is preparing
for his career next winter. Have had to resort to bigger tools this year Not necessarily better, just bigger. I personally like a tractor without a computer Ken DSCN1967.jpg DSCN1961.jpg |

I use my Kubota BX24. I’m currently building a winter cab for it. A project I probably should have started before winter. Haha

I normally use a back blade,, but, the last three snows (about one per year,,,) I have become addicted to the landscape rake,,
WITH GAUGE WHEELS!! If I go back to a blade, I might have to add wheels to the blade,,, |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
