Hydro drive issue on a 147
Fired up the 147 today and while idling it sounded like the transmission was whining some. I throttled up about half way and drove around and then throttled all the way up and had the drive lever all the way in forward mode and it would feel like it would quit moving but when throttling down it seemed to kick back in and drive fine. Any ideas as to what this could be? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the pump is cavitating I would check to see:
----If it is low on fluid. ----If The fluid is clean with no water contamination. ---- If the filter has been changed recently and it is the correct one. ---it is best to run the engine at least 1/2 throttle while moving the tractor, otherwise it is hard on the hydro. They are not designed to run at low engine rpms and full swash on the directional lever.
