Yes, it will work. Not sure where to go next... As Merk already asked, what is wrong with your old one? AND the seller has no idea what he's doing, a 109 doesn't have a 3 pin driver.

Hmmmm...maybe I'm not seeing the listing as you see it but I read nothing stated about a 109?...

Looks like he updated the Title yesterday around 6pm and removed the 109 reference. Someone must have let him know about that. LOL

I found out real quick that the Cub-Police is on ebay too when I started selling on the site...always do my best to "stay in Check" when listing IH Cub Cadet parts.

It is strange now that I have some understanding of how cub cadet things should be listed or what they fit that I get perturbed when something is listed wrong. Must be the ocd side of me that pops up from time to time. LOL

Sorry it took so long to answer. Well, it is gone. I got it that way. That whole assembly is missing.

Here is the progress on the 71. Please notice the pressure plates, I sanded lots of rust off of them. Are they still usable?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
