Todd, she will mostly use it to pull the cart around and pick the braches. I will fix up a deck. You can pretty much see all the grass she has in the background. It's kinda overkill for her yard. I have a 42" blade to put on it at my house for the season I won't mention right now. The sleeve adapter is already off.

She will love the $$s it brings. She lives on the side of a mountain in complete shade. My uncle tried for years but couldn't even grow 1 tomato. He even built a cart to move the garden throughout the day. No tomatoes. Plenty of rocks tho!

Maybe ginseng too. I should have scoped out what was in the yard before I mowed today. Dammit, I could have been rich!

Beth, I tried to flip the retaining rings today. They are rubber and have indentations for the notches on the bulbs. If I turned them around, the lights would be pointing toward the engine. Are these the wrong retaining rings? Also, I have yet to locate the tail light harness. The fixtures are there, but no wires. Was the front and rear light harness on piece? I have not pulled the tunnel cover yet due to time constraints.

The headlight retaining rings are correctly positioned when the notches are toward the engine. Install them from inside out. The outside portion of the ring protrudes maybe 3/8".

Above is the link to cubcadet.com and lighting assembly. You can see what is needed for the wiring.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
