My buddy who opened His own business after being in material handling for a while just bought the power probe 3 for about $120 and he loves it. Lots of stuff I work on is 24 vdc and higher and doesn’t operate on a frame ground like you automotive guys are used to and he says it works great and identifies a pos or neg open or shorted circuit among other ways to energize both circuits. Cool stuff I want one

Yup.. Very cool. It goes up to 80 VDC safely. One of the types of aircraft tractors we work on is made by Lektro. They are battery powered aircraft tow tractors. All of the DC systems on those are 72 VDC so it comes in handy. If your hooked up to 72 volts you can also probe and power 72 volts and of course when your on 12 or 24 volt systems same thing.

Also, these will handle some AC voltage. 50 volts I think.. probably for testing alternator AC

Heres a picture of a smaller lektro. 70,000 pounds DBP they make them larger, up to 250,000 DBP

These also do not work on a frame ground. The "frame" is isolated

Heathkits, think we still got one hangin around somewhere in a box in the storage room. Built to last forever for sure. Built to fit in your shirt pocket.. not so much lol.. But cool in any event and pretty bullet proof.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
