Debut of a Shy 108
I have been a member here for some time and have tried to get pics of my 108. She has been real sly, but today I caught her off guard. Poor girl, got roused out of hibernation, no time for makeup, and put right to work. Then gets her picture taken. She will be heck to contend with tomorrow.

Thanks, guys. I'm the third owner. Second owner only had it a couple of weeks and I snatched it from him before he could drive it.

I have the cover, was playing with a sleeve hitch idea. Need a spring assist for it to work. I'll probably put the cover back in place today. Just needed to finish what I had started after my LT quit.
As a SAFETY TIP-I would strongly suggest getting a 'tunnel cover', before something gets hung up in the driveshaft.[/QUOTE] Thanks to everyone for taking a look. I was surprised at how quick it started after setting all winter. Last fall, she got a tune up. Guess I have things set pretty good, as it started on about the second revolution. KennyP |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
