Don't ever get sick between Thanksgiving and New Years! In November, I developed a dry cough. My family doctor x-rayed it. Stuff in the lungs. They did several tests including a CT Scan. Found out it is colon cancer migrated to my lungs. I am on O2 24/7. Can hardly walk 25 yards. Took my first chemo last Friday. More to come. Can't work, but I have good insurance at the high school I teach at. Thank God! Never had any symptoms of cancer until the dry cough. Should have had the colonoscopy ten years ago. And each one of you guys and gals need too, also. DonT know about the prognosis. Stage 4 cancer, as I have have, is generally non-reversible. At 60 years, I have had a good life, good health, don't mind the future, am ready to meet my maker. Will still keep up with OCC. I am more sorry for my family and friends than myself. Should go out beholden to no one. And I do believe in miracles.

Thank you for your prayers.

Faith can move mountains!!! May God's hands rest gently upon the shoulders of your doctors and medical assistants and guide them in your care. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.

John,
My 7 year old son loves POTW. He asks me every Sunday if it has been posted yet! He asked me tonight if he had seen this weeks, and I couldn't remember, so I jumped on OCC and this thread was at the top. I am sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Funny thing about this site. Never met you, wouldn't know you if you walked in my door right now, yet my heart goes out to you and your family. God can work miracles, John. That is what we at my house will pray for.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
