Yards sprayers

I am considering buying a sprayer for applying weed and feed to my yard. Was wondering if anyone has any experience good/bad with the one I'm considering buying.

I don't know any particulars about that sprayer but it looks a bit strange
from the pics. My initial thought was how are they getting 120 inch broadcast
from the little arms and only 2 spray heads. Might be just fine but I am
more used to wider booms and more spray nozzles. Make sure you can
replace the nozzles individually I would suggest. Good luck, a good
sprayer is a great tool to have around.

I have on similar to that one and it works great. I did have to replace the pump a few years ago and I'm getting ready to break it out again because I can't find a company to treat my lawn. I hope it's okay because it has been sitting outside for 2 years now.

I have that exact sprayer. I believe I bought it from Northern Tool on sale, 3-4 years ago. I used it last weekend to spray ticks/chiggers in the back yard, then drove around the house using the want to spray the base of the exterior. I've also use the wand to spray my trees with insecticide when the Japanese Beetles are the worst. When I stand on the seat of the mower, I can get to the top of my 25 year old Lindens. Only issues I had, was didn't get the wand completely drained first winter, and it sits up against an exterior wall, and froze/cracked the wand. Easy replacement online. Second, plastic shut off valves to the sprayers. I broke one turning it too hard last summer. Replaced with brass shutoffs.
Both issues i had were minor, and when this thing dies, I would not hesitate to buy the exact model again.

Its actually cheaper on Amazon and Northern tool than the Ebay link you posted.

I ended up buying a 40 gallon 3pt hitch Country Way prayer with a 6 nozzle 10 ft boom from Rural King.

Looks good, hope it works well for you. If you come up with a good
weed and feed to spray maybe you could let us know. I have had a
hard time deciding where to go on that one. I spray mainly 2 4D for the
weeds but would love to be able to add fertilizer to the mix. Good Luck

I have that same sprayer, it came with a JD 770 tractor I purchased 5+ years ago, previous owner had never used it. I first used it 3 years ago, works great! I have probably 4 acres around my house I maintain. Problem is the neighbors want you to spray their yards also! Also, be well aware of it when turning near fences, let's just say you can get about any replacement parts at Rural King.

I tried the "weed and feed" and was not impressed. It did green up some but I don't think it's lasting. In my opinion you are better off doing two different applications; broadcast spread a granular fertilizer and spay a 2, 4D, I think it's better in the long run. The first time I put down fertilizer I pushed a broadcast spreader... not fun! I bought a Rugid pull broadcast spreader I pull behind my ATV, makes quick work of the job now! I think it holds 250 lbs. of fertilizer.

I also have a broadcast spreader that I use for pelletized lime and fertilizer. I bought the sprayer to primarily kill the weeds. I have not had great success killing the weeds with the granular weed and feed and it's not cheap either.
