Default Help identify

Can some one help me identify this one? It’s too far to go and look at in person and I know nothing of the newer ones. Hopefully the pictures post...

I have no clue. Maybe Sam Mac will chime in, in that he is the Cyclops Expert.

Has a M18 or 15 on a regular cyclops GT frame 1541, 1860, 1861, 1862
Has hydraulic lift. 1541, 1861, 1862
Does not have power steering (I don't believe). 1861 or 1541. Basically the same tractor.

If it has power steering, it has to be an 1862.

Some more pictures I didn’t add the first time because I didn’t know if they were going to post.

Yeah it's definitely a 1541 or 1861. You'll need to look at the model number on the serial number tag to be sure, or possibly if the air cleaner says "Magnum 15" or "Magnum 18" on it.

They are the same tractor in every meaningful way, except the 1541 has a "derated" m18 (which is really just an M18).

Yep. It's a 1990-1992 model.
The 1541 was made in 1990 and 1991 and the 1861 was in 1992 only.

Very good tractors.

Thanks for the help. If it wasn’t five hours round trip I’d buy it for the bill they want for it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
