Default Thinking of buying plans for front loader

I have 2 wide frame parts tractors, 149 and a 129. I'm thinking of buying plans from PF Engineering. I do not need loader all the time just occasionally to move top soil or stone. I've welded many 'tools' over the years. I have steel. I have small hydraulic cylinders and valves I was given. So I'm thinking for a project. Should I reinforce frame? Front end? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it helps, I know where there is a frame for sale for under $200, if the fella still has it. It just needs a bucket and the hydraulics with pump added to it, then you are in business. It would have to be shipped, unless you are interested in making a field trip. Let me know if that will help you out.

I hope you were able to secure the frame. I have a danco loader on my 106 for over twenty years now. no axle changes, no larger hubs, no modification to bigger bearings, but I did add the steering bearing to ease the steering effort and it helped alot. I use it every summer. I put new bearings in the front wheels about 2000 when I changed the tires(replaced dry rotted original ribs). at the time the only 6 ply tires I could find was an ag tread tire so it has ag's front and rear. I have a 2a tiller mounted for counter weight.

Private Message Sent (PMS). I have done business with the guy multiple times. He knows his cubs inside and out and does work for people around the country on their cubs via shipping. Hopefully, that will get you a start for one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
