I got my seals from napa today to my surprise they are genuine kohler seals, I got 10ft of fuel line, spark plugs and hydraulic filter. My rear axle seals, diff cover seal and battery hold down bracket shipped from cub today. And lastly finding the correct cub battery for these cyclops was a bit tricky. i was able to cross reference the cub part number to a group 22f battery so i ordered one.

John where did you get the 22F battery? I got one for my 1782 from interstate and it didn’t last as long as I expected it to.

I should have know better, I was actually gonna message you and ask but didn't think you'd have that random stuff. I did see that weight bracket you had on ebay and thought about that one for a bit lol.

I've been using Deka batteries since the early 1970's. I get them at the Deka company store about 20 miles away. Last tractor battery was purchased in 2013 and starts strong.

I get my batteries there too.

Don't know if you got any batteries lately but seems the new ones don't last as long as they did years ago. ??

I currently have the Engine out The fly wheel side is all cleaned and re sealed mice made a mess inside the housing. Thankfully they only ate the insulation of one wire but not the wire itself so i heat shrinked it and re assembled everything. I need to order exhaust gaskets and studs and i'll do the PTO side at a later date.

As far as finding a nose i ordered a new 759-3773 This is the conversion kit. my tractor is a later unit but missing all the hold down rings and such.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
