Default What parts did you get today?

Thought I would start a thread where members can post up about the parts they bought today. It can be anything from tune up parts to hard to find parts or that one part you've been searching for to complete a project.

My restored 108 has a quiet line style headlight panel but I scored the correct panel yesterday for $25. I still had the decal from when I did the tractor and if it didn't get lost in the move I hope to have these installed later this week.

I guess I didn't specify that this thread is for Cub parts.

Default Parts for Cub Cadet

Just ordered a new decal set for cub 149. I messed up the large decal that goes on the trunnion inspection plate. Have another 149 that could use a paint job on the hood and new decals. This will cover both with a few extras. Need to order a few mechanical parts also, but that will be for another day, Have a great day.

Well that plastic contraption is coming together SLOWLY. Got this back from the powder coaters today. It will look good with the new grill. Now if I can just remember where I put those rubber plugs that go in the ends of the tubes.

Very Nice John! Is that a factory Cub bumper or is that one of the ones Randy was making a few years back?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
