That would be nice. Not many of my cubs still have an original seat.

After several email attempts, still ZERO response from Maple Hunter Texas. Yet another example of poor customer service, which seems to be commonplace.

I emailed them 5 years ago on getting this decal made for my Haban 374 but I never heard back from them either.

Unhappy

Glad I'm not the only one to experience such lousy customer service. A simple "we are not interested in expanding our product lineup" would suffice.

I contacted Maple Hunter through their Ebay listing, and received an immediate response. They are willing to look at making the seat decal. I will be sending them high resolution pics and dimensions.

I saved this from an original seat that was all cracked. I carefully cut the logo out and applied it to my new K&M seat using some good contact cement. Also did this to my regular 782.

I replaced the boy racer looking breather filter with the proper original draft tube and bracket.

I don't recall seeing that on mine. I'll have to head out back and take a look tomorrow.

Nice work!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
