Default Think its a LEW deal!

Driving to home depot. Saw these beauties put out to the curb for garbage!

Got them home. Tanks are clean. I didnt have a lot of time to play with them but a small squirt of go juice in each and they both fired and ran. One took one pull the other 2 pulls. I am pretty sure the owner must have gotten a new more modern gen set and just tossed these guys out. Ill put some gas in them today and check voltage running.

Never really understand how people throw things out like this. It runs rampant here on Long Island for some reason. I find mowers, tractors, weed whackers etc all the time. If I was looking to get rid of something like this I could think of 10 of my buddies or family members that would probably take them.

Chances are that's what will happen with these. Clean em up get them running good and give them a new home to a friend or family member.

For some reason I have the opposite luck. I have better luck with Tecumseh than Breaks and Scatters. And apparently better luck with Tecumseh than most people do.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
