Thanks for the comments everyone, got the 127 going without much fuss. Looking good so far. That one will make a nice mower with a 48” deck. I need to get another garage or a shipping container to put them in. Mr Bob, Knoxville is about 15 mins away, let me know, more than welcome to stop by. Lew, was about 2 1/2 hrs north, not too far in my book, fun little road trip. Wouldn’t believe the people that consider it far driving from the north end of the county to my place...... CubbyRI, that’s a lot of motivation to me keeping them from being scrapped. 100 should be easy to find

Thanks Stan. Both are five digits, same as one I got the other week, but that had fenders and creeper these two don’t. Both shouldn’t be bad to get going, gas tanks clean and motors loose, one is fairly rough though.

Thanks Alvy, haha yeah if I can find an implement to attach to one I don’t have I’ll keep one or two. Got 104 turning over, won’t be long. It’s got headlights and creeper, dealer tags.

Nice haul, Rick! I think they are breeding like wabbits at your place. Those are some nice models to pick up. I have noticed the NF's getting more and more scarce in my area over the last 4 years, but it doesn't seem that way in your neck of the woods. Sounds like your 104 has some nice goodies. That one that you will truly smile about when it fires. Glad you saved some more of them!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
