Cub Cadet Picture Display Stand
I went to Jacktown this weekend (Jan 19, 2019) and stumbled into this neat Cub Cadet display stand! Overall size of this stand estimated about 6 feet tall by 7 feet wide.
My WTF discovery as I approached the vendor space: OA Cub Cadet Display.jpg Getting closer to the front of display stand: Front of Cub Cadet Display.jpg Back side of the display stand: Back of Cub Cadet Display.jpg Close up of the center front of the display stand: Close Up Cub Cadet Display.jpg The pictures seems to show just about every tractors, implements, mowers, snowblowers and other equipment possible during the quiet line era and then some! The display is in good to fair condition with some water damage and some scrapes on the pictures. I had to ask how much for the display???........ Asking $2,000.00 (negotiable)...... too rich for me! Somebody else might get it! The one thing that really bothers me.........why the John Deere colors? Green and Yellow?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
