Let's see your winter snow moving machines!
Well since Sam started all of this snow stuff this year, let's kick it off right with a snow machine thread! Post pics of your snow moving Cub equipment for the winter of 2014/2015. I look forward to all the great pics!
I guess that means I have to start! This year, the machine I'm going to be using is a young 1864. It'll have a 54" IH blade on the front, loaded rear tires, 75lb weights on each side, a newer set of chains, custom lighting, and my fat butt for even more weight All told, I'm figuring the machine to weigh in at roughly 1400+lbs, so I should be good to go! The pics are a progress, first one is the cab freshly mounted up. Next is a night shot of the lighting setup I've got installed. And the last pic is of the blade mounted up. I need to get it out and take a good pic since I've got everything done, but I guess that has to wait. Alright, now let's see what you guys have!

Mowed for the last time the other day. This weekend the cab is coming off the 1450 and going on the 1572. I still need to get the drop brackets so I can mount the 450 blower.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
