Nothing like being on a cub and feeling the power of rolling a tall bundle of snow off of your blade. What is really neat is when I see my neighbors walking behind their snow blowers and I'm on the back of my cub--my work is done in less than 10 minutes and they are still working!

Nice setup Kelly. I know you get plenty of practice moving the white crap where you live.

There was an airline running round trip flights to Orlando for $88 last winter. I jumped on it. $40 one way with tax. Heck, I couldn't drive out of VA. for $40.

An Airbus. Crowded going down and had all seats around me to myself coming back. Got to park a couple car lengths from the terminal for free also. Shenandoah Regional Airport. Was the coldest weather of the year here when I went down. Have friends who have a winter home down there and was met at airport.

Been driving down for several years but no more if I can be down there in a couple hours by air.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
