I have the hooks on my shed door's but I'm usually to lazy to latch them so the doors just door whatever they want and always seem to blow shut just as I'm getting ready to back the tractor in. Pretty sure I already have the pipe so I guess I need a 4 pack of balls and I can do both sheds.

The automatic latch is a really cool idea.
*******BUT******** My house is build on top of a hill. Lots of wind here, basically always. The wind would probably still blow the door shut. I put an auto latching gate latch on mine. I do have to "manually release it though. Never occurred to me how much work I'm doing unlatching the door. I mean, it's almost as much work as opening the door in the first place. To the guy who invented the latch.... and apparently Tim.... is working a latch really so difficult as to be too lazy to use one? I mean, really? Do you walk into closed doors in your house too, because that pesky doorknob is just too damn much work. They say there are two things that necessitate invention. Need, and laziness. |

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.. I am laughing because I did something like that the other day. My hand was covered in oil and my hand turned but the knob didn't! Okay.. a few beers didn't help matters either.

A sleeve of balls is usually 3. Some brands come in 4's. Don't buy good ones as your latches will become expensive. The Titleist I play with are 40 bucks a dozen.. Go to a driving range and put a couple in your pocket LOL
Or give me your address and I will mail ya 4!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
