Yes, I use the two pedal machine for mowing,,,

I would love to have hydro foot controls on the right and individual wheel brakes on the left. That would be sweet.

My Kubota has separate fwd/rev pedals and the brake all on the right side.

But not steering brakes.
But Kubota does offer steering brakes on hydro's.
New Holland (at least used to) build them the same way.

Deere is the only one who thought moving the brakes to the opposite side of where they are on every other tractor in the world has them. I don't like it when they move them to the left side.

Would you be interested in setting up a two pedal system. I have a parts 3000 series you could use as an example and for parts if you do. I'm not 100% sure it would work for your tractor but I think it might. I can take pics if you want to check it out as a possibility.

Maybe you can put a little motor on the hydro handle linkage and use 2 foot switches on the floor to go forwards and reverse.

I could see that ending badly.
Step on the pedal, hydro suddenly goes full speed, lol.

I’m very green to Cubs so I’m not sure how your GT hydrostat is set up but I changed my 1450 from a hand control to a foot control. I simply made a petal, attached it to a rod and the rod then hooks directly to the rod coming off the rear end. As others have noted it’s fairly sensitive, there is a YouTube video where a guy attaches a spring to return to neutral, which would add some resistance. But I just hit my break when I want to park it.

When you make the pedal I think it helps to put a bend in it to shorten the throw your ankle only bends so much. Here is a pic that I have handy, I’ll take more of you express any interest.
