Height of the tire has no bearing? Oh, so you can drive on 20" of snow with a 12" tire? No. The tire meets the ground. I can drive in 20" of snow with my truck though.... so, yeah. Height matters.

While I may not get 30" of snow a year, we get plenty.

Tire height was not a relative issue to the subject. We were comparing wide Vs Narrow. But to answer your question. No.. height should not matter especially with a blower. The front tires should be in the cleared path from the blower. Our average is 30" year. We typically get closer to 50-60" a year

No shit. My point is on a 12" tall tire the width doesn't matter in my opinion. It's really an opinion. Not worth debating. Just drop it for god sake.
You like narrow, I don't think it matters. I've used both, I don't see a nickles worth of difference. Not worth changing rims to go to a different tire size in my opinion. Not for snow.

Thanks. I tried the one row of #40 roller chain in the center of the front tires on a WH I used to own. It was better than not having it on. I might try that. I hope I don't have to add the extra expense of rims and tires!
