DeltaCub vs Bllwnkl
DeltaCub sold a Cub today. Bllwnkl bought a Cub today!
My son and I took a road trip today. Thank you Beth for being so fair with me with the transaction. Not only that, but I really had a great time seeing your Cubhouse full of "mostly" Cub Cadets. Very informative and educational as well! A two hour round trip with one of the best days to take a drive that you could ask for. Very satisfying day! Off the truck, ramps put away, it's now at it's new home!

Looks good Bullwinkle. I see 3 people in the pic but only 2 names.
What QL did you get? Hey, what's up with that 90's Chevy not being rusted out up there in the rust belt?

Thanks Oak. I stated that my son and I took a road trip. Bought the 1250 with hydro lift that she just acquired. I bought that truck as you see it from a neighbor that sells used vehicles. It came from North Carolina. Beth agrees that the body is in pretty good shape except for the typical paint peel!

Congrats on your new cub Mr Bullwinkle, isn't it great to meet other forum members especially the pretty ones!
What are your plans for it? BTW, it looks like a long strange trip you took, if you know what I mean.

I plan on fixing anything that might need fixed, put my snow blade on it and take advantage of the hydraulic lift!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
