OK. so, I dont see embossed kohler on blower housing. The fuel line passes through blower housing. Also looks to have a fuel pump of some kind on it. Rectangular box towards front that fuel line attaches to before carb.

Ok.. so tractor data shows a B100 as a 6 speed.. You may be onto something here.. Tractor data shows the 800 as a hydro.

Briggs and Tecumseh used that method on some of their horizontal shaft engines.

Well, Ill fool around with it in the morning.. The good news was who ever used it drained the tank nicely. They kept it under cover. I put some gas in it and the booster pack helped it fire off pretty quickly. The engine sounded nice. Did not see any smoke. The clutch operated well enough that I got to try all forward gears and reverse. I will update int he am..Thanks for the help!

What is messing me up is that the muffler is coming out the flywheel side, but I do not see the vr under the steering wheel so it may be a 800 Beth.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
