Welded together? Never saw one like that before. Even splashed some paint on the welds.

All very good points. It is what it is, now it's my problem I guess.
Fixed the battery tray this am. Just cut out the boogered up part, and replaced with some "new" metal, drilled a couple holes, good as new.

Happened to find a few more PO welding mods done to the frame.
Got the Bota out for a lift today. Pressure washed the pig, at least I got the first layer off. Was a balmy 50* today, but not so warm playing in the water.

I think you need to give this one a name, Piglet maybe? Actually I think they are all that dirty, except for the ones that got left outdoors for a LOOOONG time.
50 deg and snow on the ground. Hmmm, It was in the 70's here and dry as a bone. Dad harrowed some corn stalks for me this afternoon and he was kicking up dust. Supposed to be in the 70's all week. Guess that means all the fruit trees will jump the gun and get bit with a late March frost.

Hard to tell Lew, but now I'll be able to see what the inside of the frame looks like now that it's clean enough to get the rear end out...
And what is the "next project"

"Piglet" would be a kind word, I was thinking more on the line of, starts with piece of ....!
Oh it'll be awhile before we be turning any soil around here. We'll get hammered with more white stuff before the soil turning happens.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
