since you just said "Cub" and not IH Cub.... here's my 2544... I didn't have an IH snow ready last year, and probably won't this year. However, the new stuff is fun to push 2.5'+ with!! Considering I'm the neighborhood "guy" I get to mow about 7 yards in the summer and plow about 7 in the winter... I have a bunch of extremely nice widows all around me. Needless to say the GT2544 was a year old in June and it has 150 hours on it as of today!
I've got a pair of Carlisle All-Trails loaded in about 72lbs each. 4x42lb suitcases and me (200-215lb, depending on the week. ) I've put my electric sleeve hitch on since last winter, so I've lose use of my weight bracket.... I now have the custom wheel weights with anywhere between 10-75lb extra per wheel. I'd still like to fab up some kind of bracket I could throw 1 or 2 suitcases on and still have the sleeve hitch...

Isn't it nice to have more than one Cub to be able to choose which is needed for a particular need? Wish I had a driveway that was plowable. LOL

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
