I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it in somewhere to get blasted. Anyone happen to be in central Iowa and have any suggestions?
Just do a Google search. I found a few places in central Iowa.

Yep, a couple places come up via Google. Also found a couple names on Facebook and called one today. They want $185/hr but the gentleman seemed knowledgeable. Going to see what else I can find for prices. I was thinking closer to $100/hr based on my internet searching but I am in the city.

It's about $100 an hour around here. $185 seems like highway robbery.

Jeez! Last time I had any done here is was only like $60. I used to get things blasted for $20/hr! Does that mean I'm getting old?

Even $100/hr isn't terrible. I mean, my local Chevy garage charges more than that an hour!!! $185/hr is ridiculous.

Jeez, and to think, I used to get one done for a box of beer. Drop the deck off, go uptown, get the brew, and by the time I was back, it was done.
Took all of twenty minutes to a half hour.
Times they r a changin'.

You could also try contacting restoration shops, body shops, powder coaters or a tech school if you have one nearby. All those places will likely sandblast or know where you can go.

Got a better idea
Start looking for a better compressor and spend the money on that instead.... You'll be able to do the job easier and you'll end up with a bonus. The job will be done, you'll know it's done right and you will end up with a compressor left over that should last for many years and many more tractor jobs. Start scouting CL, something good will turn up.

I bought mine out of the local classifieds 20 years ago and not sure if that or my 2 post lift was the best $500 I've ever spent... Each cost me the same.
My compressor is 5hp 80 gallon upright/ 2 stage/ 4 cylinder pump, runs off of plain old 220.. can't remember it's either 17 or 19 cfm at 175 PSI
Remember it's cfm that you need.

A good sandblaster uses a lot more than 19CFM.

Honestly for the size of compressor it takes to use even a small pot blaster efficiently, you're better off with getting a water blaster attachment for a pressure washer. Even a new 2500PSI pressure washer is cheaper than a good used compressor. The water blaster adapter is less than $100. Or at least when I bought mine it was. Plus, when blasting with water, there's no dust and you can do thin metal, like a hood, without worry of warpage.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
