Default New 129 owner

Hi all
New cub owner here I found this 129 for the price of going to get it. It was in s flood a couple of years ago. The rear end is fine but when you drain about a half a gallon of water out of the crankcase you can't expect much will go good there. All parts there, funny thing is I got it from the original owner who kept it garaged always. Doesn't help when the water comes from the bottom of the garage

Nice looking machine

Now, two questions:

1) Why did you call it a submarine 129?
2) Post a pic of those instructions for starting!!

I should add that my dad said the seat on the
105 hurts him. He's a John Deere man .
I think he knows who made a better garden tractor now

That 105 is my first narrow frame. I really like it, of course I haven't worked
on it yet. Looks a little tight in there

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
