Default Newbie from Columbia MO

I've been lurking for a while so I couldn't hold back any longer.
I was given a cub 122 and I am trying to bring it back to working condition.
It already has a fresh rebuild on the motor. I'm fixing the clutch now and
Upgrading the front spindles and wheels. I'll get some pics soon
I've already learned a lot from all of you and look forward to all of the great post!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Is there any mods or things to look for as I fix this machine?

I don't post often but I am from Sturgeon originally and live near KC, Mo. now.

If you need any help, send me a message. I am not an expert on cubs but have been around a little while, and will help all I can.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
